Lillian was a much loved lady who will be lovingly missed. I have known Lillian from Eastern Star, where she was a Life member. ( really earlier when I was a teenager in Rainbow with her daughter Mary Beth). She joined Eastern Star in R,I. in 1938, affiliated with Billerica in 1963 making her total membership of 82 years ( just shy of 15 days), She served others faithfully all those years, Even in her later years, she would be in contact by phone if she couldn't be in person, I always admired her for kindness and thoughtfulness of others. She took an interest in everything she was involved in, She so looked forward to receiving our monthly notices with news of fellow members. The last time I saw Lillian was at her home at Billerica Crossings, where several Eastern Star members visited her on the occasion of her 100th birthday and to present her with a 75 year membership pin, Alert and super bright as always, she entertained us with wonderful stories from her expert memory. She held the "younger" members spellbound. A wonderful example of a life well lived. To her family, I am so sorry for your loss.
