Little did I know @ 1970 when I was just 15 we would be friends later in life.
He was such a presence reminiscent of James Dean leaving the Garage in his Corvette with the top down headed for home
Thanks for all you did for me and many others and
Thank you Charlie for being my friend till we meet again.

I worked for Charlie years back. He was the best role model I have ever had in my life. He was an amazing character. If it wasn't for Charlie I would not be the man I am today. Thank you Charlie may you rest in peace.

I met Charlie through Joe Shaw one of Charlie’s best friends. Charlie was such a funny man. It was always a pleasure to swing by the shop and see him. He always made me laugh. So sorry for the loss of such a great man. Charlene McCarthy

While I was drinking my coffee this morning, I was thinking of Charlie & old days at the Burlington shop, the 1st house up at Lake Winni., & all the laughs! Charlie loved to laugh, He had the Best laugh, I ever heard, something like Eddie Murphy's, I'm going to miss that laugh! RIP, Charlie

I worked for Charlie back in 1967/68 at his Auto Body shop, behind the Mobil Station, in Burlington, on the Billerica line on 3A.
We remained friends ever since, Patsy & Charlie were very good to me, I have many fond memories! The little white house by the Railroad tracks, Vets, GTO's, late nights at the Old Shop, sending me down to Friendly's for burgers & sundaes, Great Memories!
Charlie had contact with more people than anybody I ever met, maybe in the 1000's! When I worked for him, the same group of friends, would stop in every night on their way home from work, just to see the Magic, what we were working on, painting, etc.!
It was a Magic Time, the 67 Red Sox, Pete's Diner, the Drive-In, the Good Ole Days are gone, & so is my Good Friend Charlie, an Icon! Charlie will be joining many friends & Legends of Billerica Lore, in Automotive Heaven! I'll miss stopping by N E Frame every time I visit Billerica, over the last 50 years!
On behalf of all the guys from Billerica, Pinehurst, or who Hung Out at Pete's Diner, Godspeed Charlie, Tink McMinn
