Obituary of Harold H Hill
Harold H. Hill, 88, of Cambridge, MA, passed away on March 13th.
Harold was born in Bowman, ND and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. After his service, he married his wife Victoria and went on to earn a degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University.
Harold worked as an Electrical Engineer for Vivirad High Voltage which took him on several extended assignments to Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
Harold and Victoria had 5 children, 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He was a devoted husband to Victoria for 54 years through her passing.
Harold enjoyed spending time with his family, challenging projects, and was always up for a game of dominoes. An avid sports fan, Harold enjoyed watching the Celtics, Red Sox, the Pats, as well as the North Dakota State Bison.
Harold is survived by his children: son Robert and wife Theresa of IA, daughter Donna and husband Rey Luna of MA, daughter Debra Hill of AZ, daughter Brenda Hill of VA, son Paul and his wife Helen of AZ and daughter-in law Patricia Hill of AZ, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins
He is preceded in death by Victoria, parents William and Jessie and brother Donald.
Military Honors will be held on Saturday, July 11, at 10:00 AM at Cambridge Cemetery. Relatives and friends invited.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Somerville Cambridge Elder Services. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to his hospice care team.
