Obituary of Kenneth McLain Johnson
Kenneth McLain Johnson passed away March 29, 2010 at Brookside Hospice in Clearwater, FL. He was the beloved husband of the late Kathleen T. (Tyrrell) Johnson, to whom he was married for 55 years. Born September 28, 1917 in Calais, Maine, he was the son of the late Adniron and Isabelle Johnson. Ken served with the US Navy during WWII on the submarine tender USS Aegir in the Pacific. He is a 64-year resident of Billerica, 55-year member of the Thomas Talbot Masonic Lodge, member of the American Legion, and a retired tool and die machinist. He is survived by his son, Kenneth M. Johnson Jr. and wife Catherine of Ohio, his daughter, Kathleen I. Johnson of Florida, his grandson, Major Kenneth M. Johnson III, MD. and wife Shannon of North Carolina, his granddaughter, Shelley S. Johnson of Ohio, his great grandson, Cole McLain Johnson of North Carolina, his brother, Keith Johnson and his wife Ruth-Ann of Maine, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was also the brother of the late 15 siblings and their spouses.
