Zoe, I just found your father's obituary while searching the web. My wife and I owned the Concord Road house and sold it to your parents in 1969. We knew them well through the Unitarian Church. I am very sorry to learn of his death. Love to you.

Fred was a fellow who was always ready with a smile. I remember first meeting him at a Rev event. In the 80s. In later life I became a fan of his baskets. He will be missed.

This quote says it all: To Fred: "God has you in his arms, but I have you in my heart!" My heart bleeds for Zoe. Both Kathy and Fred raised a loving and talented daughter with the strength I admire.
May Fred's legacy live in all of us as we move forward. Teach, create, and love. When we are able, give people a Freddy Bear Hug!

Fred was a truly gentle and generous soul. We played Fifes and Drums together in the early 70's and I worked for Fred at Arlington Lawnmower for a couple of years and thoroughly enjoyed his company daily. More importantly than work he was a friend and I am sorry for his passing.
