Obituary of Judith R. Hough

Judith Ruth Hough, 82, formally of Billerica, MA passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 with family at her bedside at Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg Kansas.

Judith was born September 8, 1938 in Everett, MA the daughter of William R. and Ruth E. (Swarzer) Chute. She graduated from Billerica High School in 1957.

On August 24, 1958, Judith married the love of her life, Fred Milton Hough Jr. in Billerica, MA, he preceded her in death in 2002. Judith worked many careers in her lifetime from Home Maker to Electronic Panel Assembler. For many years she worked at a Shell station she owned and operated with her husband, as well as a parts store in Billerica. Judith enjoyed traveling with her husband and family, venturing to many different locations. After losing her husband Judith relocated to Pittsburg Kansas to live with her Daughter and family. She loved spending time with family and friends, she loved to laugh and make others laugh. 

Judith is survived by her daughter; Debora Ann Cain (David) of Pittsburg, Kansas; son, David Hough (Mary) Ellenton Florida; two grandsons, Craig Cain (Sarah) Pittsburg, Kansas, Matthew Hough Manchester New Hampshire; three granddaughters, Jennifer Krumsick (Andy) Dade City Florida, Ashley DeBruler (Eric) Pittsburg Kansas, Brianna Hough, Hooksett New Hampshire; five great-grandchildren; Emalee, Allyson, Betsy, Will, and Hudson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters: Linda Harriman, Dorothy Slater, and brother William Chute. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 17, at 11:00 AM in the Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Rd., (Rt. 3A), Billerica. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours, Friday, 4:00 – 7:00 PM.
