Uncle Gordon this is so hard to write as the tears keeps raining as I remember all the wonderful and funny memories we had with you! You were one of kind, so soft spoken with so many kinds words and your actions taught us how we should all be. You were my greatest mentor and I learned so much by listening to you while we went fishing in Vermont for 40+ years! I will always treasure those times fishing & going frogging, going to the auctions, celebrating your birthday in Vermont, playing Uno & cards. You were the one that bonded us cousins together because you were always in the mix of our shenanigans., sometimes you had better ideas than we all did. We all say good bye with a very broken heart and promised to help Aunty during this sad time!
Love You Uncle Gordon xoxoxo

Dear Aunt Irene and family -
I was deeply saddened to hear of Uncle Gordon’s passing and wanted to offer my condolences and assure you of my prayers for your entire family! While sad news, I must admit that I smiled quite fondly as I reminisced about all the fun I had with Dad and Uncle Gordon going from one yard sale to another and then off to an auction or two as you and he visited Montana. He was always ready with a smile, a witty remark, or a piece of historical trivia when he discovered a “diamond in the rough” antique that would most certainly find its way back to a Massachusetts flea market. A wonderful man who fosters a number of wonderful memories…he will be truly missed. Again, please be assured of all our prayers and heart-felt condolences. Love, Chad and Becky Bralick and family.

Dear Aunt Irene and family….Many thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. We always enjoyed your trips to Montana as they always turned out to be an adventure. Uncle Gordon always had his camera at hand or browsing through the newspaper looking for garage sales or waiting to make his appearance at the State Fair. He was content on the go or just visiting around mom’s kitchen table. One of my fondest memories of Uncle Gordon is the last holiday in mom and dads house with all of us. Everything he did was heartfelt and filled with love. His kindness showed in all that he did and will never be forgotten. May your memories be a strength and comfort in the days ahead. Take care God Bless Love Dick and Mary

I could say so much but tears would be in my eyes. Some of my favorite memories of Gordon are when him and Irene would come to visit my parents and play cards and some nickel and dime game. They would play for hours and have so many laughs. Another is working with Gordon at the Shriner’s circus and other events. The famous strawberry short cake table. We love you Gordon. May you Rest In Peace with your family members and mom and dad. With all our love, Dean, Denise, Abigail and Jasmine Georgoudis

In my short time of knowing Gordon, he was a gentle and kind person. You could tell he enjoyed life to the fullest with that happy smile he always had on his face. He was blessed to have a wonderful and loving wife, children, and grandchildren who will all miss him dearly. When I found out he loved bear claws, and I had the chance to go to Panera's, I would buy him one. That certainly put a smile on his face. His family is very lucky to have this special angel watching over them.
Love to you all,
Patty Lavertue
