Obituary of John Bennett

John (Jack) Bennett died peacefully on January 17^th, at his home in Billerica, MA.  He was 90 years old.  Born to John and Clara Bennett of New York, NY.

Beloved husband of 61 years to the recently deceased Lily Bennett.  He is survived by his sister Angela Mathews of Chelmsford, MA; daughter Mary Heasley and husband, Scott of Billerica, MA; daughter Lorraine Dunigan and husband, Tim of Henrico, NC; and daughter Pauline Bennett and husband, Gary Begor of Boston, MA.  He was the grandfather of Katie Dunigan, Sean Heasley, Laura McGrath (husband Mike McGrath) and Jake Dunigan.  His greatest joys in life were his family, his faith and the New York Giants.  Relatives and friends are invited to gather for visiting hours on Friday, January 21^st, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, at the Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Road (Rt 3A), Billerica.  John’s Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM at St Irene’s Church in Carlisle.  In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution in John’s honor to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.  Burial following at Fox Hill Cemetery with military honor.  For John’s guestbook, please visit www.burnsfuneralhomes.com
