Sam always had a smile on his face which made everyone else smile! My childrens' favorite memory of Sam was that they could always count on him to be first in line at their lemonade stand and eat all the Christmas cookies that they delivered to him. Dotty and Sam were the best neighbors anyone could ask for. They made wonderful memories for my family!!

My sincerest and deepest sympathies go out to Sam’s immediate and extended families for your loss. Sam was a true friend for many years as coworkers at Textron Corporation where we developed a friendship that lasted to this day.His sense of humor and quick wittedness made work more “fun”. He taught me how to paint (art) during many lunchtime breaks. He was one of a kind , the best. I spoke to him on the phone two weeks before Christmas 2021 for which I am very thankful. I will always cherish our friendship and many memories.

I’m so sorry for your loss, l remember Sam and Dorothy when I was a young boy. We spent time on the cape at Dorothy’s parents camp their was no better place to be growing up. I also remember Sunday dinner at Dorothy’s parents house. Sam and Dorothy were always the kindest people I knew growing up my only regret was not seeing them later in my life. They will be in my heart forever. Dick Jason
