Mabel A. (Richards) Rogers, age 93, of Billerica passed away on July 5, 2010 at New England Rehabilitation Hospital in Woburn. She was the wife of the late Francis X. Rogers Sr. Born in Oaksville, NY, on June 22, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Walter J. and Myrtle (Eckler) Richards. She married in April 1948 and settled in North Adams, where she was a devoted wife and loving mother. Mrs. Rogers relocated to Billerica in 1986 and was a member of the First Congregational Church in Billerica. For many years Mabel was an active member of the Carriage House Club and acted as Treasurer as well as Bingo Coordinator. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her son Francis X. Rogers Jr., his wife Patricia, and three grandchildren, Jason, Lisa, and Molly, all of Billerica, a sister, Jean King, of Wilmington, and various sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins throughout New England and New York state.
