Obituary of Robert Hillis

Robert (Bob) Stevenson Hillis, Sr., 89 years old of Billerica, MA passed away peacefully on March 23, 2023 at his home, surrounded by family. 

Bob was born in Somerville, MA to Matthew L. Hillis and Katherine (Dunn) Hillis on August 18, 1933. He was a painting contractor for 40 years. Bob was a lifelong member of The Billerica Lodge of Elks. 

Bob is survived by his children, Diane (Hillis) Doell, Billerica, Robert Hillis Jr., Gardner, Debra (Hillis) Kramer, Billerica. Grandchildren Robert Hillis II, Texas, Robert Kramer, NH, Rebecca (Kramer) Reid, NH ,Skye Robinson - Hillis, Washington D.C. Great granddaughters Mykaylah Marquez, Billerica, Haley Hillis, Texas, Freya Reid, NH and great great granddaughter N. Rose Hillis, Texas. 

He is preceded  in death by his parents, Matthew and Katherine, his wife Roseann (Grimes) Hillis, his brothers Frank, Matt and Moe Hillis , his granddaughter Shannon Marie Kramer. 

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
