You always had a special place in Stephens heart ❤️ and from the first time we met, I felt the same
We rest assured that you knew that.
You married us

Sadly, we cannot find a picture in our files of us with Marie. But, we know it was because we were so busy enjoying the time that we were spending together. Our family was blessed the day that Alex and Marie moved in across the street from us. They showered so much love on our children and fully welcomed us into their lives. We enjoyed cookouts, trisps to the beach, family events, and most importantly the loving and beautiful wedding of Alex and Marie. We truly thought Marie would be around forever as she was so full of joy, life, and love. We will miss Marie, but we will cherish all of the many memories that we made.

Aunt Marie,
I know you are aware of how you meant the world to me. One of the kindest people I've ever met, you always led with empathy and found the positive in others. I was so lucky to have you as my godmother.
We shared a lot of laughs, and you lent your ear to me on so many occasions and dispensed such helpful advice and encouragement. You helped me when I came out and helped Mom with that news, accompanying her to PFLAG meetings. And you played a big role in my and Doug's special day, speaking with the authority of your education and expertise about the physical and psychological impact of love.
In recent years, I enjoyed seeing you develop such strong relationships with my kids, particularly with Cordelia. She and the boys already miss you greatly, but as sad as they are at this moment, they are rich with memories of Auntie Ree, and those memories give them lots of comfort. And we can likewise all take comfort in the fact that you will never truly be gone - you impacted us all and will live on with us.
Love you so much.
Your nephew,
Derek

Aunt Marie,
Your contagious smile and uplifting spirit will be greatly missed.
Thanks for all the great memories.
Love this picture of you, it was taken when we spent the week at the condo in Ashland.

Hi Marie,
It is with the heaviest of hearts ♥️ that I have to say goodbye to your physical self. We have known each other for more then 30 years as we journeyed together as professional Clinical Nurse Specialists. As a Masters prepared clinician and with your strong spiritual roots you were able to help clients to gain insight into themselves and gain some self respect. Beloved by all, clients and staff, you Marie, put all at ease.
Speaking as one of a number of close friends and colleagues we valued so much about you, your clinical skills, your sense of humor, your love of family, your devotion to family and the knowledge they had that if they were in need you were there.
However there was one area where you threw around your power…and we trembled. Did we have on the right colored clothing!!
Marie always dressed beautifully, it was important to her and after taking a course called “Color Me Beautiful “ she wanted her friends to dress well too. I can’t count the times as I might be riding with friends to pick up or meet Marie, they would say( and seriously), “ do you think Marie will like my colors?, am I wearing the right colors?
I bet when we are all in heaven and have adjusted our wings, Marie will be there to be sure they are the right color and size…
Marie, my beloved friend…I ache that I won’ see you again and share ourselves. But I do believe you are at peace and rest, and G-d means for us to meet again.
I loved and will always love you
Judy
