Carol has been a great neighbor and wonderful friend for almost 50 years. She introduced our family to 4-H with Mike and Meredith joining her bicycle club and became their horse back riding teacher. She also got me involved in an "older" adult woman's soccer team. Her willingness to try new adventures was inspiring and fun. She approached new experiences with enthusiasm and daring do. She will be missed mightily around the neighborhood. We hope that your happy memories of Carol sustain you all as you grieve her loss. With sympathy, Dan and Leslie Yauckoes

Jonathan, Mark, Shane, and Family, Harry and I are so very sorry for your loss. We remember Carol from way back, when she would walk her horse over to Pine St, and guide kids with a walk about. Carol and my mom went to kindergarten together. Carol taught me how to ride horses, love 4-H, be silly, be strong, and balance a crazy busy life. My mom and Carol would trade children on Friday nights; Mark and my mom would go to a boxing match on Friday night, Saturday I would go horseback riding with Carol. She was my second mom growing up. When I moved away I looked forward to going back east to ride horses together on the trails behind her house. We would talk about life and reconnect. She was there for me at my high school graduation, college graduation, my wedding, and many more times than I can count. I love you Carol and I will miss you!
