Obituary of Patricia E. Clark

Patricia “Patty” Christo Clark passed away peacefully at home after battling Multiple Sclerosis for over 25 years on May 24, at 69 years young. Missing her forever will be her husband, Kevin, and their two sons, Kevin and Christopher. She also leaves behind her brother George Christo, his wife Patricia, nephew Scott, and many lifelong friends, neighbors and co-workers.

Patty was a Billerica resident for 30 years, but in her heart was always proud to be an “East Cambridge girl”.  She grew up there with her family, with the following now deceased - her mother Ellen, father Tom, stepmother Pauline, and younger brother Bobby.

Patty was fiercely independent, determined and strong, and worked as long as she could, for many years at the Western Electric Company.

She loved champagne, shopping for bargains, photography, antiquing and was always dressed impeccably, with jewelry to match all her outfits.  

Patty’s need for perfection could also lead to her sometimes being difficult – especially to her devoted husband Kevin. She often said “My husband, he don’t know nothing”. He may not have known how to use tools to repair the house to her liking, but he knew how to love her and tended to her needs for many years, and especially during difficult times when Patty became bedridden.

Most importantly, she was one of the most loving and caring people this world has been blessed with. She was an amazing mother and wife that accomplished so much in her life which was drastically altered and shortened with her MS diagnosis. She was someone who touched and impacted the lives of many and would have achieved so much more if able. She was an amazing role model to her children and gave so much love to her family and friends and was one of the people in this world that anyone would have been truly blessed to know. While Patty will be missed deeply by her family, she can now finally rest peacefully.    

Visiting hours will be held in the Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Road, (Rt. 3A), Billerica on Wednesday, May 31. from 4:00-7:00 PM. Relatives and friends invited. Burial will be private.

The family requests that you raise a toast to Patty and a life well lived, but cut short way too soon. Call a long-lost friend, don’t hold a grudge, and live each day like it may be your last. Tomorrow is promised to no one.
