Obituary of William G. Howe

William G. Howe, age 69, died June 8, 2023, at his home in Billerica, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Ellen E. (Burke) Howe of Billerica, to whom he was married for 46 years, on June 5, 1977. Devoted father of Shawn W. Howe and the late Colleen E. Howe. Cherished and adored grandfather to Erin E. Howe. Bill was born in Worcester, December 2, 1953, the son of the late Harold and Patricia (Mason) Howe and was raised in Texas. Bill enjoyed being involved and attending all soccer games his children and granddaughter played in. He would be loudly involved calling out plays at his son’s Shawn soccer games. He also coached his daughter Colleen’s soccer games and granddaughter games. He would try to teach her soccer skills. Bill enjoyed fishing, gardening, and watching the Patriots and Red Sox games. He was employed at CPF, (Pepsi) in Ayer, as a supervisor. He went to the University of Lowell, earned a bachelor’s degree. He served in the US Army from 1973 to 1977 at Fort Devens, Ayer and overseas in Berlin, Germany. He was the brother of Kevin Howe of Colorado and the late Eugene “Gene“ Howe, Robert “Bob” Howe, Dwight “Dyke” Howe and Patrick “Buddy” Howe. Funeral Mass will be held, Wednesday, June 14, at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish in St. Theresa's Church, 466 Boston Road, Billerica, at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invitied.  Interment Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
