Obituary of John J. Osborne

John J. Osborne passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at his house in the Villages, Florida.  Born in Boston on November 4, 1946, he was the son of the late John J. and Frances Macaluso Osborne. John, a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, worked as a longshoreman mechanic for Massport prior to his retirement. He grew up in Medford and lived there until he moved to Billerica where he raised his family.  John enjoyed going on family vacations; he loved driving to Florida with his family.  He also enjoyed spending time in Las Vegas. 

John is survived by his daughter, Michele and son-in-law, Paul Longuemare of Billerica, his sons, Derek of Lowell, and John and daughter-in-law, Valarie of Dracut. He also leaves his cherished grandchildren, Alycia Longuemare of Tyngsboro and her fiance, Brian Thompson, and his grandson, Cole Longuemare of Billerica; his sister, Ellen Attenazio of Stoneham; his brother, Domenic Osborne and his wife Louise of North Carolina and his sister, Linda Roux of Tewksbury, as well as many nieces and nephews.  A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, September 17, in the Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Rd., (Rt. 3A), Billerica, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM. Relatives and friends invited.
