Obituary of Barbara L. Rogers

Barbara Louise (Sutton) Rogers, 95 of Lowell and Billerica, MA. Passed away on March
21, 2024 in High Point Hospice House, Haverhill, MA. Funeral services will be held at St. Anne's Episcopal Church, Treble Cove Rd., Billerica, MA on March 28, 2024 at 10 am with Rev. Jennifer Beal of St. Anne's Church officiating. 
Barbara was born in Chelsea, MA to Oliver and Violet Sutton on June 29, 1928.
She attended Billerica High School. She was a homemaker and raised a family of seven
children. She enjoyed quilting, knitting and gardening. Specially making a baby quilt for each of
her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She received the "You Make A Difference
Award" from the Lowell Public Schools for her volunteer hours at the Morey pre-school.
She also gave many hours to the St. Anne's Thrift Shop. Barbara is survived by her 5 children  Donald E. Rogers, Jr. and his wife Susan; Joseph T. Rogers and his wife Nancy; Lorraine Rogers; Kathryn DuBose and Kevin Rogers; 10
grandchildren Christine, Joey, Anthony (Ben), Scott, Adam, Lindsay, Laura, Matthew,
Sarah and Jessica; 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. And her sister,
Faith Baque. She was pre-decreased by her husband Donald E. Rogers, Sr.; her children, David
Rogers and Jeanne Morse; her granddaughter, Dawn and great-granddaughter, Devin.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to High Pointe Hospice House and Lowell
General Hospital. In Lieu of flowers memorial contibutions may be made in Barbara's name to the American Cancer Society.
