My Dearest Kelly
I am so sad to learn you have passed away on April 6th. It's hard to believe since I just saw you on the Wednesday before your death. We had a lot of laughs as we always do. I just learned that you passed away on Saturday the 20th. I have been call you before the 20th, now I know why I haven't heard from you. I'm so sorry. I will miss you very much, you were a very good friend to me. I hope to see you again in heaven, I hope you are in peace.
Love Roger

My childhood is filled with memories along side Kelly. From Brookside sleepovers, where we would watch Dirty Dancing and reenact the dance scenes for HOURS; to listening to 50s in Bills old fashion car on our way to Macs ice cream. I will never forget that when Kelly got her drivers license she offered to take me along for the ride to school. We would head out at the crack of dawn to make sure we’d get a spot, then sit in the car for an hr doing homework, our makeup, and chatting. Though I can’t remember one thing we talked about, cause it was always nonsense, I knew there wasn’t ever any silence.
But my greatest memory of Kelly is when we were in elementary school and I got sick on the bus ride home. Kelly offered to carry me home. I remember her trucking down the street holding both backpacks and me. That was the type of friend she was to me, she had the kindest heart and soul. Brenda and Caryn I am so sorry for your loss. And Kelly I hope you are in heaven with your parents in peace. You will forever be in my heart ❤️

I will always remember Kelly as one of the sweet girls on the block…one of the many who made memories together year after year, summer after summer. I have one memory of her at a young age pronouncing her name “Telly” instead of Kelly. She would say Ka-Ka-Ka-Telly in an exaggerated way then belly laugh along with all of the kids. She could pronounce her name perfectly well but just loved making everyone laugh and would do it over and over. I remember her laughing and smiling and running around without a care in the world and hope she has that same spirit and peace in her heart now. Caryn and Brenda, I’m so sorry for your loss. Sending you and your families love.

So many favorite memories of Kelly since many of us knew her since the day she was born. One unique trait is her limited food choices, chicken nuggets and mac and cheese. Neither Kelly nor her parents were known for experimenting with food. They liked what they liked!
Kelly was all about DANCING, laughing and sharing good times. Especially dancing with so so many years of recitals and costumes and graceful movement.

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Kelly's passing . . . my husband and I were close friends of her parents. We have very fond memories of Billy, Marie, Caryn, Kelly, and Brenda. Billy and Marie were so very proud of their daughters; their love shone through. We spent many weekends @ the Bakers swimming and dancing. They always had the best BBQ too. My heart is broken. xox
