Obituary of Audra J. DeLuca
With deep sadness we announce the passing of Audra J. DeLuca, age 43, September 5, 2024. Beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. She passed away surrounded by her family after a sixteen month long battle with Ovarian Cancer and courageously marched through significant complications.
She was a talented athlete who excelled as a hockey goalie and softball catcher. A devoted music lover, she attended hundreds of concerts and traveled the world to see her favorite musicians. She always found a way to talk her way backstage and she made an unforgettable impression with everyone she met.
Audra was a carpenter and built homes all over Massachusetts. In a predominately male profession, she put the men in their place with her hustle, work ethic, and thick skin. She was over-the-top generous and showered her family and friends with love. May she be remembered for her loving spirit, open heart, and ability to befriend all those who met her.
She was the beloved daughter of Gail (Falite) DeLuca and the late Vincent DeLuca; sister of Brandon DeLuca and wife Vanessa from Shrewsbury; and Devan Surette and husband Ken Surette of Tewksbury. She was adored by her nieces and nephews: Logan, Vivian, Leo, and Gloria, all of whom cherished her. Being their aunt was the fulfillment of her life. She was predeceased by her father, Vincent N. DeLuca, maternal grandparents Gloria & Anthony Falite of Billerica.
