Marcia J. (Paner) Smutek, age 58, died Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Mass General Hospital in Boston after a short illness. She was the beloved wife of Robert A. Smutek, her high school sweetheart, and to whom she would have been married 40 years next spring. Born in Buffalo, NY, June 12, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Celia (Beresniewicz) Paner. A lover of animals, she also enjoyed arts and crafts. But her greatest joy in life was caring for and loving her family; she especially cherished her time spent with her three grandchildren. Besides her husband she is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Amy Turcotte and her husband Don of Lowell and Hilarie Dube and her husband Jason of Dracut, her sister Lucille Zemrak of Buffalo and her brother Daniel Paner, also of Buffalo, and her three loving grandchildren, Zachary and Matthew Turcotte and Katelyn Dube. She was anxiously awaiting the birth of her 4th grandchild, due in the spring. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
