Rudolph "Rudy" J. Matte Jr., of Billerica, died Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Saints Memorial in Lowell after a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Violet "Lucy" Matte, to whom he was married for 18 years. Born in Lowell, April 8, 1947, he was the son of the late Rudolph J. and Diana (Boisvert) Matte. He lived in Lowell most of his life before moving to Billerica 18 years ago. Rudy was employed at WNA Comet in Chelmsford for 20 years as a building supervisor. Besides his wife he is survived by his children (Jeffery, Brian, Leon, Brandon, Jessica, Mary, Danielle, and Christine) and their spouses, his grandchildren, and many relatives and friends.
