Melody L. (Maryhugh) Green, age 54, passed away, peacefully in her sleep, at her home in Billerica, Monday, June 25, 2012. She was the beloved wife of Paul Godfrey. Born in Utica, New York, February 3, 1958, the daughter of the late Robert and Barbara (Fahey) Maryhugh, Melody grew up in Port Leyden, NY. She lived in Billerica for the last 23 years. She was a recent graduate of North Shore Community College with a degree in Culinary Arts. Melody was happiest when she was cooking, planting her flowers, veggies and herbs, and soaking up the sunshine while listening to country music. Her most enjoyable times were spent with her family and talking with her sister. Besides her husband, she is survived by her two daughters, Kristen Green-Casey and Michele Green, and her two sons-in-law, Christopher Casey and Christopher Graham, all of Billerica; her three brothers, Mitchell Maryhugh and his wife Barbara of Boonville, NY, Mark Maryhugh and his wife Colleen of Copenhagen, NY, and Matthew Maryhugh and his wife Nancy of Watertown, NY; her two sisters, Marilee Smykla and her husband Michael of Mayfield, NY, and Michele Pirro and her husband Steve of Syracuse, NY.
