Margaret "Meg" S. (Brown) Hildreth, 56, of Billerica, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from complications from kidney disease. Meg was born in Columbia, MO on August 30, 1956 and was the daughter of the late Jerry and Mina (MacNair) Brown. She grew up in Birmingham, AL and earned an English degree from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. Meg worked for many years for the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection and the Executive Office of Environmental Affairs in Boston and Wilmington. She was an avid book reader who also enjoyed gardening, cooking, and baking bread. She also enjoyed traveling, especially to Maine and Vermont. Meg is survived by her husband Lon of Billerica, her sisters, Louise Brown of Climax, NC and Beth Bardo of Novato, CA, and her nephews and niece, Daryl, Aaron, and Amy Bardo. She is also mourned by numerous friends.
