Loving father to Adrian Morgan and Gina Denton; adoring grandfather to Gensen Denton; son of Leland E. Morgan Jr.; brother to many; and friend to all throughout his life, MICHAEL L. MORGAN (Mike), 60, of Wesley Chapel, FL passed away on March 8, 2013 from complications related to an unforgiving battle with cancer. Mike was born November 28, 1952 in Roxbury, MA to Leland E. Morgan Jr. & Louise Morgan (Teneriello). With a mischevious glimmer in his eye, a laugh in his heart, and a beer in his hand, Mike forever claimed Thanksgiving as his birthday weekend and used all 4 days to celebrate. Although cancer robbed him of his voice, Mike's personality continued to speak loud and clear. Mike liked to cook, but loved to eat. He enjoyed entertaining friends and family, and could always pull a feast from his kitchen cabinets with zero notice. Mike enjoyed watching sports of all kinds, playing horseshoes in the yard, getting into trouble with his best friend Kevin, singing in the shower, telling dirty jokes, swimming in the warm FL waters and making breakfast for his work crew. Most recently a resident of FL, Mike has also resided in MA - living in Everett, Malden, and Billerica. Mike also raised hell in earlier years at UMASS Amherst and with the Navy in Patuxent, MD. Memorial services will be held from 12:00 - 2:00PM at Burns Funeral Home in Billerica, MA on Saturday, March 30, 2013.
