I’ll never forget you Uncle Tom. I have such fond memories of being a kid, living in Cambridge and visiting you and Aunt Gladys in Billerica. I remember you giving us watermelon in the summer and asking us to put the seeds in a can so you could grow more in your watermelon patch in the woods behind your house. I was in AWE of the great watermelons you showed us. I was so impressed by your gardening skills that I ran in to tell my Nana and Aunt Gladys about the huge watermelons you had grown. I was so disappointed to hear from Aunt Gladys that you had purchased them from the local farm stand and placed them in the yard to fool the “ city kids”...You were just the funniest Uncle Tom . I still laugh about this today. I now live in Billerica and still visit you and Aunt Gladys frequently, unfortunately though, at Fox Hill. I will never forget how kind you and Aunt Gladys always were to us as kids. I know that you’re both in Heaven with my beautiful grandparents and the rest of our family who have gone before us. I hope to see you again someday. Love you.
