John E. Harris, Jr., age 67, “Diamond Jack”, died Friday, November 28, 2014 at Lahey Hospital in Burlington after a long Illness. He was born in Somerville, December 7, 1946, the son of the late John and Louise (Foster) Harris. A resident of Billerica for most of his life, he served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War on the USS Kitty Hawk in 1965-67. After the service, Mr. Harris worked as a self-employed carpenter. He is survived by his two loving daughters, Robin Babcock and her husband, Kevin, of Pepperell and Michelle Harris and her partner, Michael Pisiello, of Windham, NH; his sister, Louis Stevens and her husband, William, of Nashua, NH; and his brother, William Harris of Billerica. He also leaves his loving grandchildren, Alicia Spinney and her husband, John, Kevin Babcock, Allison Babcock and Leah Pisiello, and his great granddaughter, Katarina Joy Spinney.
