Obituary of Msgt. Edwin J. Malinowski

Msgt. Edwin J. Malinowski, U.S. Army Retired, 89 of North Billerica, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 15, 2015. Edwin served his country for 29 years in the Army as a senior noncommissioned officer. He enlisted in the army as an 18 year old and served in Italy during WWII. His military career was marked by many accomplishments and brought him to many different states and countries. He enjoyed his work as a Radar Maintenance Chief and retired in 1975 and joined Raytheon in Andover, MA as a Missile Systems Engineer. Edwin was predeceased by his beloved wife of 56 years, Takeko in 2011. Edwin is survived by his only child, Mary Francis and husband, Steven Tanenbaum; brother, Leonard Malinowski and wife Hattie; his step-grandchildren, Michelle O’Hara and Daniel Tanenbaum; as well as his nieces & nephews, Robert, Susan, Anne, Barbara and John.
