Raymond “Ray” A. Hill, Jr., age 73, died Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Lahey Clinic Hospital in Burlington after a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of JoAnn M. (Baia) Hill. Born in Quincy, August 24, 1942, he was the son of the late Raymond A. Sr., and Myrtle (Will) Hill. Ray was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and later worked as an automotive technician. Ray was a kind, generous, loving man who will be missed by all who knew him. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Joseph R. Hill and his wife, Susan, of Virginia, and their children, Joseph S., Jillian C, and Jacqueline M., his son, Jeffery A. Hill and his fiancée, Jennifer Hylton of Illinois and their daughter, Alexandra L., and his other grandchildren, Jaylin Rae and Mathew J. Hill, Jr. and their mother, Angela Dellisola of Lowell. He also leaves his brother, Frank P. Hill and his wife, Barbara, of Norwell and his great grandson, Declan C. Phipps along with many other relatives, including in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was also the father of the late Jennifer Ann and Mathew J. Hill, brother of the late Betty Jean McGinnis, and uncle of the late Elizabeth McGinnis.
