Funeral from the John C. Burns & Sons Funeral Home, 305 Broadway, Cambridge, Saturday, June 18, at 8:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Anthony’s Parish, 400 Cardinal Medeiros Avenue, Cambridge, at 9:00 a.m.

Interment Information

Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, will be private.

Obituary of Anne Poznauskis

CAMBRIDGE –passed away peacefully in her sleep on, after a lengthy illness. Daughter of the late Dominic and Aquila Matulis, Anne grew up in Cambridge and was married for 68 years to Joseph Poznauskis, also of Cambridge. In addition to her husband, Anne is survived by her two sons, Joel Leonard and Paul Poznauskis, her daughter-in-law, Krisanne Bursik, her twin grandsons, Adam and Zachary Leonard, and numerous nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased by her son, Philip Pozner, and her loving sister, Pauline Ringrose. Anne loved her family, friends, and her Cambridge community; she leaves behind lifelong friends and truly caring neighbors. In her final days, Anne received extraordinary kindness and care from the hospice staff, and the family would like to express our sincere appreciation. Relatives and friends invited. Immediately following, friends and family are welcome to join together to remember Anne at her home, 363 Windsor Street, Cambridge.
