Davenport, Raymond M. of Billerica, formerly of Medford and Long Island, NY on Oct 1, 2016. Ray was the beloved husband of Joan (O’Malley) Davenport, the loving father of Joan Andreas and her husband William of Aquebogue, Long Island and Lt. Col. Thomas P. Davenport, USAF Ret and his wife Lisa of Billerica; grandfather of William and David Andreas, Erin Sullivan and her husband James,and Sean Davenport and great grandfather of Brianna Sullivan. He was the brother of the late Herbert, George, and William Davenport, Ella Brant, Helen Patterson, Virginia Mercer, and Dorothy Slinkowsky. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A visiting hour will be held on Wed Oct 5 from 9-10 AM in the Burns Funeral Home,354 Boston Rd. (Rt. 3A) Billerica followed by his Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, Billerica at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment with Military Honors at the Mass National Cemetery in Bourne at 1:45 PM. Late US Army Korean War veteran.
