David E Young Sr., also known as PA, 86, of Billerica MA, past away at home on Wednesday, April 12, 2017. Born in Boston Massachusetts, To David and Thelma Young. He lived most of his life in Billerica. Dave was a special man to so many family and friends. Anyone who met him, loved and adored him. Even friends called him Grampy. He touched so many hearts in so many ways. He loved all the family functions to be with his family. He didn’t want to miss any functions that his Grandchildren or Great Grandchildren were in. He worked hard and loved to joke and have a good time. He anxiously awaited on Sundays to watch football. He loved watching the Patriots play. They were his team. He was in the Navy, worked at the B & M Railroad for many years and was a truck driver until recently. He is survived by his wife Lorraine of 66 years, daughters, Lorraine Smith, Linda Lambert and Debbie Young and one son David E. Young Jr. who is predeceased him. He also has 8 grandchildren; Shawn Marcotte, Paul Marcotte, Todd Marcotte, Dale Young, Troy Lambert, Danielle Lambert, Katelyn Young and David E. Young III. He was blessed with 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Road, Billerica, MA on Saturday April 15, 2017.
