Charline Laura Eastman, of Chelmsford, MA, entered the larger life Saturday, October 7,2017, just a few days short of her 94th birthday. She was the daughter of Charles and Laura Colby Eastman of Chelsea, Vermont. She left Vermont to care for her niece Carol following the death of Carol's mother in 1945, and worked at Faulkner Mills, N. Billerica, and Sunny Acres Nursing Home, Chelmsford. Following retirement she cared for her brother George. She was the last of eight children: George, Luna, Elsie, Harold, Lawrence, Charles, and Pearl. She loved company and was often visited by friends and family. She is survived by nieces Carol MacKenzie, Chelmsford; Joan Boardman Chelsea, VT; Annie Raymond, Barre, VT; Lois Hall, Naples, FL; Terry Kirrane, Bradenton, FL; Cindy Morris, Quechee, VT; and nephews Ted Nichols, Chelsea, VT; Charles Eastman, Mystic, CT; Harold Eastman, St. Johnsbury, VT; Donald Eastman, Dayville, CT; and Stanley Eastman, W. Simsbury, CT. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 14, at 11:00 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Rd., (Rt. 3A), Billerica, with burial following at Fox Hill, Cemetery, Billerica. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Lauren McLeavey, Rector of St. Anne's Episcopal Church, N. Billerica.
