Carol Halewood, age 81, of Cambridge passed away peacefully on November 6, 2017 at home, Leaving behind her son, Mark Shea and husband, Paul Shea as well as Professor William Halewood, her brother from Cobourg, Ontario and her sister Atty., Pamela Morse, of Gainesville, FL and many nephews and a niece. Carol, a longtime resident of Lexington, was the Head 4-H agent for Middlesex County and was a thirty-year employee of the University of Massachusetts Extension Service. She was also active in many civic and philanthropic causes. Carol held a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island and master’s degree from Northeastern University. A Memorial service in her memory will be held for her friends and family on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Charles Hotel, Harvard Square, Cambridge at 3:00 PM.
