Obituary of Frederick A. Jollimore

Frederick A. Jollimore, age 65, died Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Cambridge after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Laurene H. (Yeo) Jollimore, to whom he was married 38 years. Born in Lowell, he was the son of the late Frederick W. and Jeanette (Uhlig) Jollimore. Fred graduated from Billerica Memorial High School with the Class of 1970. He spent most of his career at area Ford dealerships as a manager and administrator, and had worked the past six years at Lowe's in Salem, NH. As a Harley enthusiast, many fond memories were rides with his son, especially at Sturgis. Fred also enjoyed camping at the beach, fishing, tinkering in the garage, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Fred is survived by his daughter, Cheryl (Jollimore) Cook and her husband, Joshua, of Andover; by his son, William Jollimore of Londonderry, NH; and was the father of the late Lisa E. Jollimore. He is also survived by his brother, William Jollimore and his wife, Judith, of Dunstable; and his sister, Judith Ward and her husband, Gary, Sr., of Madison, NH. He also leaves his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Peddle of Billerica and Marilyn Yeo of Tewksbury; his two loving grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Jacob Jollimore and their mother, Laurie Lindsey of Manchester, NH; and many nieces and nephews. In addition, he is survived by his dear family members, Mark and Jaclyn Morrison and their children, Calvin and Everett; and by close family friends Jessica and Logan Amato of Londonderry, NH. Fred was known for his honesty, generosity, and warm, mischievous smile, and will be dearly missed by all those who called him father, brother, uncle, friend.
