Frances L. (Marshall) Leahey, age 90, died Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at D’Youville Senior Care in Lowell, after a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Brigham who died in 1980 and Edward M. Leahey who died in 2004. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Bessie (Gunther) Marshall. Frances had a love for music and dance and a strong devotion to her family. She attended Billerica schools and graduated from Billerica Howe High School with the class of 1946. She worked for the Town of Billerica in the school department as secretary to the principal of Billerica Memorial High School and also in the Billerica school administration office. She was also a past member of the Billerica Alumni Association. Her family would like to thank D’Youville Senior Care, Alzheimer’s Unit for their wonderful and compassionate care for the past three years. She is survived by her 3 daughters; Patti-Lynn Brigham of Billerica, Ellen Allen and her husband, Gary, of Billerica, and Kimberly Smith and her husband, Kenneth, of Billerica, and her son, James Brigham of Rochester, NH. She is also survived by 9 loving grandchildren, Jennifer Couillard, Rebecca Carroll, Jeremy Brigham, Carrie Wihbey, Ryan Allen, Kaitlin Garofano, Jeffrey Allen, Kara Smith and Kevin Smith as well as her 19 great grandchildren.
