Farewell, Maxo. My condolences to the family during this difficult time. I was working on my family tree and started asking my mom about my dad’s cousins on the Dorce-Colimon side. I was happy to be able to connect with you when Reggie moved to Orlando, Florida. You helped me with the family tree and I took you to church with me when you were in town. My mom, mon oncle Mercier were thrilled to reconnect with you and will mis your talks. You were a gentleman, kind, and very debonair. My condolences to the family and may the great memories of you bring everyone comfort.
Que ton âme repose en paix. Nancy Dufresne Charles

Marc and I met at State Street Corporation where we worked for more than twenty years. He was a great friend, loved by everyone. He was compassionate, loving and caring. We used to have lunch together every work day at 1 PM. My wife, Mirtho Bazile LaBranche, was also a great friend of Marc. My wife and I send our condolences and prayers to the family. Rest in peace my dear friend! You will be missed.

The endless tales to our infamous expression of with "Bon Manje, Bon Bwason gifts blessing Bon Moman", will continue create a great flavor for us to savour as 'We Are Nations United, Let Our Worlds Come Together". TRULY, YOU'LL BE MISSED, our beloved Mon'oc Marc F Colimon.

Dad, I thank you for all those wonderful years I got to spend with you. Thank you for loving us. I miss you so much, I miss your laugh, I miss listening to your stories. I still hear your voice calling my name. I love you so much Dad. I feel so blessed I got to see you one last time.
As much as I miss you Dad, I know you are no longer suffering.
Rest in peace Dad, until I see you again,
Thank you again Dad for your love

Oh how the greatest of us leave such a lasting impression and memory.
Important people are talked about not thought about.. and uncle Marc you were always held with such high regard. You had such a cool calm demeanor and also boasting a luxurious smile with a laugh that would make the deepest pains seem not so bad.
There is no one I can compare you to as you stand on a pillar all your own. You have been a patriarch to this family and have made your paragon known to us and to the world. You will be sorely missed, always remembered, but seemingly always present.
I hope to one day be the Uncle Marc of my family.
Love you :)

Uncle Marc, I wanted to let you know how much you meant to me, but no space and time would suffice if I needed to count all the ways I love you.
You took Geneva and me in and raised us as your own children. You were the father we needed in our growing years. You taught us discipline, class, and style. There is rarely a day that you don’t cross my mind, you influenced my life in every way I live.
I thank you for teaching us all English over that one summer, (it was all of us kids on the block!), that's been my foundation, still used today. I like to think that I got my style from you too! Style in expression, presence, etiquette, simply natural and effortless decorum, I will always be proud to show how much you influenced me, and I will forever be thankful to you for that.
Oh! How you loved good music, dancing and seeing people dancing. Thank you for the love and appreciation for class, theater, stylistic, art, ‘l’amour et le goût du beau’, and countless other exquisite qualities I will carry on, always indebted to you, Mon Oncle Marceau.
I will miss you forever, especially not having your call, singing to me early on my birthday. And most of all, I will never forget when you said this:
“Je me soucis plus d’aimer, que d’avoir la certitude d’être aimé”. (Marc F. Colimon).
Now I know what 'Eternal Life' means, you will forever be in my life, Mon Oncle Marceau.
Claudy.
