Michael was my cousin. Back in the day including the month of August 1946 I was living with his mother and father. One particularly bad day I remember creating much chaos in the family household while Michael was in his mother's tummy, and she admonished me with "If you cause me any difficulty with birthing this baby I will cause you much bodily harm about your head and shoulders! So anyway, my Aunt Marion was then, and always, my favorite Aunt! Michael was what every sincere man would want to emulate, a distinctive genuine gentleman, with grace and compassion as he tended to the returning Vietnam War wounded (and others) while serving in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. Along with his wife Patricia, they provided quiet but dignified guidance to their sons while raising them in a loving atmosphere. Looking at the photo above I can not imagine not being able to pick up the telephone and have our talks. God Bless Michael and his loving family. As Marines are want to say, God Speed and Following Seas.
